Lake Rerewhakaaitu #

Lake Rerewhakaautu is 40 kilometres from Rotorua, and has not one but three separate campsites. Guy Roe Reserve is run by the Rotorua District Council, and camping there costs $8 a night with an honesty box. Further along the lake, Brett Road campsite and Ash Pit Road campsite are both run by DoC. All these campsites have toilets and untreated water.
